The most recent magazines uses vibrant colours and different types of fonts and sizes to attract the audience, specially the album's title and the artist's name. Each magazine uses different types of background and fonts, depending of the genre of the songs. It also has a mid shot photo of the artist, on the front cover, instead of having different photos like the magazine from the 50's.



There's some consistent features that you can find in a pop magazine video, like the artist's name, the name of the album and image of the artist or a picture that relates to the music video.
By the picture that has been used in a magazine, the fonts and the colour, it attracts the target audience.
For example on the picture above there's a magazine of Olly Murs, because he has used a colour red on the magazine, it directly tells you that it's about romance.
You can also see that on Jessie J's magazine her face takes up to 50% of the magazine and there's a minimum of words used in the advertisement, as it focuses more on the album, so the audience has only one thing ot focus on.
