Construction: Editing Process

These are some screenshots that I took while I was animating and editing it, to show all the steps of how I created to complete my final music video.

The software I have used to animate for my music video was Photoshop Cs6 on a iMac. I have also used a Bamboo tablet Wacom, which helps me to draw digitally directly on the computer.

on every single layer I have used the onion skin, which helps me to animate easier, as it shows me a range of frames both before and after my current frame, progressively fading them out as if they're layered on translucent paper on top of each other, or "onion-skinned".

For teh camera movements, there's in each layer an option to be able to use pan, pan and zoom, zoom , rotation and roation and zoom. The one I have used the most was pan, to be able to move something in a straight line, so it can look as if it's moving fluently. I have also used zoom to an extreme zoom, to make a scene more dramatic or so the viewers can see clearly the characters emotion.

To make something for dramatic or so it can have some tense in the scene, I have used short shots, without any effect like fading in or fading out.

On the picture above you can see a lot of layers, where have been repeated. I have used this technique whn the girl was running, ans instead of drawing the same drawings all over again, I have two or three times on a scene, to be able to make that shot longer.
