Before I sketched my character's moments, I decided to draw figure drawings from life. By using simples lines, it helps me to give a figure a real sense of life and individuality, not just an action pose or stereotypical expression.
These are some sketches that I did, before creating my music video animation.
By doing this it helps me to practice and develop of the moves and actions that I might be using on my music video.
It also informs the viewer of the real intention behind the character's actions, for example, their motivations, feelings, skills, and personality.
