How important is pop music for teenagers?
The majority of the teenagers listens to pop music, and they spend their whole time listening to music, weather is on their phone, speakers, radio or you tube. This has affected them economically, physically, and even psychologically.
Pop music and their artists are the type of things that influences teenagers lifestyle, this could be about their clothe, make-up,attitude. Teenagers admire and imitate these artists because of the attention they receive in different media.
Pop music is a powerful tool to impact teenagers, as it has gone a long way through previous decades, and now music has evolved and shape shifted its way to the time of now.
Pop music in the 1960's.
In the 1980's, women had a tough time entering to business of music,since the ones that listened the most to pop music were the teenage girls, ad by only having a long flowing hair, the men could easily become a star with the expectation of women. For that reason some women even dressed up like men to be able o gain popularity.

Jess is a 17 year old teenage girl, who lives in Kettering. She loves listening to pop and hip hop music a lot on her spare time, for example Nick Jonas. She likes songs that are emotional and has a meaning behind it, since it reminds her of her past.
Jess is very passionate on listening pop music, as she listens it in her room, on her phone while she walks to school or when she does her homework since that's what relaxes her, she even listens it with her family or sisters.
